The company has expanded to widespread plant capacity to cater for our 10-million-pound steel turnover, spread across 4 state-of-the-art facilities operated by 300 skilled professionals.  The company runs 2 shifts a day, 7 days a week, to guarantee your project is completed on schedule.  SMI is the single source solution for steel fabrication and machining.  The team is determined to see you succeed.

The Southwestern Manufacturing team is made of grit and determination with refined skills.  We are practiced experts through intensive training in steel fabrication for the procurement, cutting, stress relieving, shot blasting, fitting, welding, machining, non-destructive testing, final paint, and specialty coatings, in house quality inspection, and custom sub-assemblies delivered with our logistics network.  All this, resulting in high-value finished items across many diverse sectors delivered directly to your site.
